Content Policy
B/NG is a content-first platform. We protect creative range while keeping the platform legally clean, safe for the audience-rating tier you choose, and machine-honest about what is AI and what is not.
1. The line
What is never allowed, regardless of audience rating:
- Sexual content involving minors. Permanent ban + reported.
- Real-world hate speech, terror recruitment, organized harassment.
- Doxxing or non-consensual personal information about identifiable people.
- Footage or imagery of real, non-consensual sexual acts.
- Content directly depicting or instructing on violence against specific real people.
- Copyrighted material without rights — including unlicensed music and unauthorized celebrity likeness.
2. Audience ratings
You self-select at submission. Moderation validates against the scan:
- TV-G — All audiences. No nudity, no graphic violence, no profanity beyond mild.
- TV-14 — Teen and up. Suggestive content, moderate violence, infrequent strong language.
- TV-MA — Mature audiences. Strong language, sexual themes, graphic violence permitted.
Mismatches between declared rating and content auto-flag for review.
3. AI disclosure
AI series are first-class. Hidden AI is not. If you used generative AI for any substantial portion of the visuals or voice, mark AI Generated = yes at submission. Concealing AI involvement is a strike offense. AI Series carries an audience tag — it is not banned, hidden, or downranked.
4. Music
- Original — your own composition or commission.
- Licensed — backed by a receipt or rights record uploaded to the Legal Document Archive on submission.
- Royalty-free — only from a B/NG-recognized library: Epidemic Sound, Artlist, Musicbed, FreeMusicArchive, YouTube Audio Library. Other sources require a license receipt.
- Public domain — be precise about which composition and recording are PD; a recording can be PD while the underlying composition is not.
- None — silent or original sound design.
Music content ID runs on every submission. Matches without verified rights are muted on publish or the series is held until rights are documented.
5. Voice-over
- Creator voice — you are the talent.
- Non-AI third-party — triggers an auto-generated B/NG VO Talent Release that the third-party signs via the ANVX eSign protocol (BNG-19, BNG-20). Series cannot publish until the release is countersigned.
- AI-generated — must be declared and the underlying voice must not impersonate an identifiable real person without consent.
6. Minors on screen
If any person on screen is under 18, declare the minor-talent flag at submission. We may request a parent/guardian release, school-time confirmation, and chaperone information. Sexualized content involving minors is grounds for permanent ban and a report to the appropriate authorities. There is no second chance on this.
7. Tags and categories
Static genre categories are permanent and editorial. Community categories emerge organically when enough viewers and creators independently apply the same tag (BNG-28). Tagging spam, vote brigading, or attempting to manipulate the consensus system is a strike offense.
8. Strikes
First confirmed violation: warning + content removed.
Second: 30-day submission suspension.
Third: permanent ban.
First-submission rejection on a brand-new account: immediate permanent ban — the activation gate (BNG-27).
Strike history is visible at /account/strikes. Appeals run via the same page with a 14-day SLA.
9. Brand sponsorships and ads
Sponsored series and sponsored categories are clearly labeled. Pre-roll ads run only on the free tier — never mid-roll. Ads are subject to the same content rules as user content, including AI disclosure.
10. Reporting violations
Use the report button on any episode or series, or email abuse@bng.media. For copyright infringement specifically, use the DMCA process.
