DMCA Notice and Takedown
B/NG complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright, file a notice using the process below. Knowingly false claims are sanctionable under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
Designated Agent
DMCA Agent, B/NG Media, Inc.
Email: dmca@bng.media
Mail: 1209 Orange Street, Wilmington, DE 19801, USA
What a takedown notice must include
To be effective, your notice must contain all six elements:
- Your physical or electronic signature (typed full legal name is accepted).
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (title, registration if any, sample link).
- The B/NG URL of the allegedly infringing content (episode or series page).
- Your contact information: full name, address, phone, and email.
- A statement, in good faith, that you believe the use is not authorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.
What we do
- We log the notice into the Universal Legal Document Archive (append-only — every notice and our response is retained).
- We disable access to the identified content within one business day of a complete notice.
- We notify the creator with the substance of the notice and a copy.
- If the creator submits a valid counter-notice and the original claimant does not file suit within 10–14 business days, we restore access.
- Repeat infringers — three substantiated notices on a single creator account triggers permanent ban under our repeat-offender policy.
Counter-notice
If you are the creator and you believe content was disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notice. It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the disabled material and its URL.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was disabled by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or Delaware if outside the US).
Send counter-notices to dmca@bng.media with subject “DMCA Counter-Notice”.
Filing through the platform
Authenticated users can also file a takedown via the report flow on the infringing episode or series page. The form prompts for the same six elements and routes to the DMCA queue.
Don't use this for non-copyright complaints
Trademark, defamation, harassment, and policy violations route through the Content Policy reporting process, not DMCA. Misrouted notices delay everyone.
